Anniversary Date Night & Restaurant Review
I can’t believe it’s been three years since we got married. It feels like just yesterday we were on the beach in the Bahamas saying our I Do’s. Here we are three years later still going strong in love and in life. Love is such a beautiful thing. I hope you all get to experience it if you have not. Love makes you a better person. It has the power to change you. I am so grateful to God that I met this AMAZING man who takes care of me, looks out for me and just makes me a better woman. No one could have taught me what this love has and I am forever grateful for the blessings bestowed upon me even when I am undeserving of them.
With that said we had a great date night at Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar. One of my girlfriends visited the restaurant, recommended it and I knew we had to make it our business to get there.
The restaurant is located on Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland, OH in the Historical National City Bank building which was the Garfield Building named after president James A. Garfield. You can read more about the history of the building and updates before it became the restaurant it is today here.
The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It was busy for a Tuesday evening with an after-work crowd engaged in dinner and conversation.
Upon entering we got seated immediately even though we came a little early around 6:50 pm. Our original reservation was at 7:15 pm.
Once seated we ordered beverages and our waiter gave us a chance to look over the menu before we ordered. The restaurant provides water, bread, and butter on the table to hold you until you receive your drinks, appetizers, and dinner.
I ordered the Bittersweet Symphony to drink which has Smirnoff Vodka, Cointreau, Pineapple Juice, Chambord, OJ, Lemon Juice and Orange Bitters. It was delicious and had a nice kick.
We took no pictures together at the restaurant so we only have one before leaving home which is a selfie and separate photos at the restaurant. Hubby takes most of my pictures so shout out to him for being my photographer.
We sat across from one another. The restaurant does have booths but those went to those with bigger parties.
Dinner was great. We enjoyed one another’s company and reflected on the last three years of marriage.
In addition to my anniversary gifts, I did receive these beautiful flowers from hubby. I love flowers. Ladies and gentleman flowers make your home beautiful and are such a sweet gesture.
The last thing I want to highlight is a close up of how cute the decor is in the restaurant. I could not leave without taking a picture in this lounge area. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner and one another’s company and plan to go back soon.
