WARDROBE STAPLE RED COAT & WORKWEAR
Red Coats are so chic. That’s why when I saw this one I had to have it. When wearing a red coat like this it’s important to let the coat steal the show and wear something minimal as to not let the red coat drown out. This red coat is a wardrobe staple. If you are not familiar a wardrobe staple is an item that you need to have in your closet because as its chic, simple and you will want to wear it over and over and with multiple pieces of clothing.
This red coat came from Forever 21. It’s a wrap coat so it does have a belt. The coat is a wool blend so it’s a little heavier which gives you the chance to get a good amount of wear out of it. I live in Cleveland which means long Winters and cold Autumns and you need multiple jackets and coats to keep you warm.

Workwear has been very popular especially with the gingham and check print in style. On the runways and in top fashion magazines there has been a lot of outfits styled using the workwear trend which I love.
The top I have on is from Forever 21. I believe I paid around $15.00 for the top. The top is a silky material. It has a black tie that goes around the neck which I tied into a bow. There are black buttons which makes the top look very sleek and put together. This top also came in a blush color but I couldn’t find either top so I linked some similar white tops below. I love this top. It looks so chick and just makes me feel like a fearless boss. It also gives off Parisian vibes and is very flattering.
The pants are black and have a grayish white color. The slacks fit really good. They zip up the side and were easy to get on. They do have belt buckles which you could easily put on a black belt to accessorize the look. I decided against the belt because I didn’t need one but it would be a cute addition to the ensemble. You could also put a nice cardigan or blazer over the top if you wanted to dress it up or down.
My heels are from Zara. They are black patent leather. Yall, these heels are so comfortable. I can’t believe they were so affordable. They were originally priced at $39.99 and I got them on sale for $20. These heels are perfect to wear to the workplace or on a date night. Because the heels are black you can wear them with any color and you don’t have to worry about your feet aching so you can dance the night away or walk around with your head held high like the Queen you are at the workplace.
My hair is a twit out of course. It has been my favorite go-to hairstyle because it lasts throughout the work week making my mornings go smoother. This style gives me the ability to get up, fluff and keep it moving in the morning. I used the new Creme of Nature Coconut Line which has been great for soft hold styles.
These leopard print glasses are prescription but they look really good with my outfit. When I’m at work and on the computer all day I need my glasses to help me see better so the day is productive. I have on some basic stud earrings, a gold watch and my Alex & Ani bracelets for accessories. You could easily put on some small hoop earrings or some dangling earrings. I prefer gold jewelry but with this ensemble, you could easily wear silver jewelry. I have linked some similar items below to what I have on in the pics.
